Student Council

Every year the student body elects a Student Council. This council, which has representatives from each year group, provides an opportunity for students to engage in a structured partnership with teachers, parents and school management in a variety of activities for the overall good of the school.
Although a staff member is always present at the meetings, the Student Council is completely run by the students who elect their chairperson and secretary for the year.
An agenda is drawn up for each meeting and every year the Council takes on one main task to accomplish, alongside the everyday issues.
The Student Council plays a very positive and create role within Dominican College and students are encouraged to get involved.
